ABOUT OUR CHURCH

St. George Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church warmly welcomes all who seek a spiritual home and guidance on their faith journey.

Founded in 2007 as a small congregation, St. George Church has since grown into a fully established parish. All sacraments are available to members as needed. In addition, the church regularly hosts prayer meetings, family gatherings, and special events focused on health, spirituality, current affairs, and social issues.

We invite you to come and be a part of our faith community.

VANITHA SAMAJAM

The Vanitha Samajam, or Women’s Association, at St. George Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Aberdeen, is a vital and vibrant part of our church community. This fellowship brings together the women of the church to grow in faith, serve with compassion, and support one another through prayer, fellowship, and outreach.

Through unity, prayer, and service, the women of Vanitha Samajam continue to strengthen their spiritual lives while making a meaningful impact within the church and the wider community.

New members are always welcome to join and be part of this blessed ministry.

Church Services and Sunday School

We warmly welcome everyone to join our regular church services held on the first and third Sunday of each month at 7:30 AM.

 

Our Sunday School classes are conducted every Saturday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. These sessions provide a valuable opportunity for children and young people to grow in their understanding of the Bible and deepen their relationship with God through engaging lessons and activities.
